It is an exciting time with the recent growth in media coverage of environmental concerns! Last year we had a great turnout at the festival and this year we are working on new media campaigns to increase our presence in the community and bring in even more festival attendees. To promote our last festival, we had a large full-color advertisement and full-page color story in the Daily News’ special Earth Day section allowing us to offer more publicity to our sponsors. We hope to do this again in order to prominently showcase our sponsors while we reach over 450,000 readers as part of the Daily News distribution. We also advertise with a massive poster and flyer campaign..
For environmental, animal and
health groups, this is an essential opportunity to get

OVERVIEW
Saturday,
May 10th, 2008 is the World’s next chance to celebrate
Earth Day. Set among the trees and lush lawns of Woodley
Park, we will welcome thousands of attendees to WorldFest,
L.A.’s largest Earth Day festival. It is a magnificent
day filled with entertainment, education and enlightenment.
The combination of great music, empowering speakers,
socially conscious exhibitors, kids’ activities,
and a delicious food court make for an earth-friendly
experience that is thought-provoking, inspiring and enjoyable. Festival attendees at our last event witnessed Los Angeles Mayor, Antonio Villaraigosa, and city council members present us with an award acknowledging WorldFest’s outstanding work in highlighting environmental issues.
WorldFest provides the opportunity for sponsors to reach a well-informed,
intelligent, and open-minded base to showcase their products and services,
and present their campaigns and ideas to the public. The benefits to
a sponsor are numerous and include high-visibility promotion, from booth
placement to banners and announcements on our main stage, to the inclusion
of company/organization logos on thousands of flyers, posters and advertisements
that are displayed both at the event, in media publications, and around
