Our sixth event took place on Sunday, September 28, 2003 at Woodley Park in Van Nuys, California. We had an amazing lineup of musicians and speakers. Thousands of people showed up to enjoy lively music, delicious food, inspiring speakers, and beautiful arts and crafts.

We had two stages this year, allowing us to showcase an exciting variety of world music. The musicians and speakers drew huge crowds. It was a beautiful day to sit out on the grass and enjoy the entertainment.

The food court offered a vast array of delicacies. People could choose between hemp nut icecream, tofu pizza, delicious vegan cookies and cakes, and a wide range of ethnic cuisine.

WorldFest gets bigger and bigger each year. In 2003 we had a record 170 exhibitors, each sharing their vision of compassion towards animals, people, and the earth.

In keeping with our vision, the entire event was powered by solar energy. We needed a lot of solar panels to power up such a big event!
