David Garfield

David Garfield's mission statement is to make music. And make music he does, as a world-renowned keyboard artist, producer, and composer. Be it jazz, rock, funk, or worldbeat, he is the creative force behind the production of many internationally acclaimed recordings. Starting his career with jazz greats such as Willie Bobo, Freddie Hubbard, and Tom Scott in the 70's. Being a mainstay of the L.A. scene for many years, Garfield continues to have ongoing music relationships with George Benson (he is frequently Benson's Musical Director), Boz Scaggs, and Natalie Cole. Over the years, he has recorded with Cher, Spinal Tap, The Rippingtons, and Larry Carlton and has performed live with Michael Bolton, The Blue Brothers, Brenda Russell, and Rick Braun to name a few. Most recently, he has released the critically acclaimed CD "Giving Back" and collaborated on new recordings soon to be released from industry veteran Smokey Robinson.
